Alone and blind... by LuxSilvestra Alone and blind... by LuxSilvestra
This was greatly influenced by my emotions a week ago. I felt terrible. I'm still not sure what caused that dramatic change from endless happiness to painful sadness and then again to happiness. wtf brain? -_-

Also, this is probably my dragon OC. Maybe I'll add or change something like the ripped wings. Will see ;)
HER name is probably going to be Lux as well...

EDIT:
OMG! Thanks for all the :+fav:s! It really means a lot! :tighthug:

Hi there! I saw this beautiful work on my home page, and I had to comment. The tears in the wings, combined with the shading and the overall texture it seems to line the scales all mix evenly and provide out a beautiful balance that conveys the emotions the title seems to imply. I feel so bad for this creature, the beautiful majestic Lux, and I admire your talented ability to be able to draw up something like this just on a mood change. Even the angle of the claws seems so innocently perfect, I find myself pitying it. Wonderfully drawn!

The overall emotion that is protrayed through the picture really shows. I would have made the creature lower, like his who stance. The detail is extravagent though and makes you realy look at it. The drips from the nose and mouth, really good, you can see that this is not a new wound, which is complemented by the ripped wings. The shading adds a depth that most people are too scared to use, Like me, though when used properly you can go to new dimensions. I like how everything seems dim, like you are zoned into the dragon and his pain. very nice. Please keep up the good work and I look forward to the next ones!

omg you have no idea how much I love this.. I mean as soon as you posted it I automatically added this to favorites because I love the emotion you picked for this drawing like it shows how sad and alone this dragon is, and the drips from the nose and mouth show this is no new wound like GreenRoxz said on the critique for this art and the shading is very well done on this drawing! Hands down, this is one of the best I have seen and its inspiring!

Thank you so much! I'm speechless. Really!
I won't lie, I really did put a lot of effort in this drawing, not so much in the details but in trying to express emotions and a sad and depressing atmosphere. And I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. :)
I'm glad you like this and, again, thank you! ♥

Getting an emotional high, then crashing. Happens to me. Then after I cry my eyes out, I bounce right back and any little problem bounces right off of me.

This is the third time I come on this drawing, and I never get tired of watching it. Such despair escapes from this alone dragon, you have managed to give an intense emotion on a simple design, and I congratulate you. It is very beautiful !
